Printemps (Spring) is here!
With Spring comes new French vocabulary for you toddlers! You can take a walk and point out items to them and teach them the word in French.
les fleurs - the flowers
l'arbre - the tree
l'herbe - the grass
Il fait beau - The weather is nice.
and when the weather isn't so nice, you can teach your child:
Il pleut - It's raining.

I just stumbled across your blog. I am mom to a just turned 3 year old. I speak French at the moderate level, and I'm interested in teaching my daughter. She is amazingly smart (has been reading for 6 months) , and her verbal skills are incredible. I thought she would enjoy learning french. thanks for this blog.

Great to hear from you. My daughter is 3.5 years old and is reading too. Isn't it amazing how they are little sponges at this age. Drop me a line if you ever want to bounce ideas off of each other for teaching our girls French!
